On the back of Alfie Boe’s success playing Jean Valjean in the Les Miserables 25th Anniversary Concert at the 02 Arena, Decca Records swiftly signed him to a recording contract. In a matter of weeks he was working with producers and engineers in studios in Prague and Copenhagen laying down tracks for an album called Alfie Boe: Bring Him Home. The album is mixed by Søren Mikkelsen and Jakob Groth with producer James Morgan at Medley Studios.
Tracks on Alfie’s Bring Him Home album include a duet with Kerry Ellis on Come What May from Moulin Rouge; another with Matt Lucas on The Impossible Dream; plus versions of On The Street Where You Live, Some Enchanted Evening, If I Loved You, As If We Never Said Goodbye and of course the title track Bring Him Home.
